Polly Calvert | Head of Programmes & Impact

Polly joined GovRisk in 2016 and is responsible for the design and implementation of a range of technical assistance and capacity-building projects in the areas of AML/CFT, anti-corruption, public financial management, and business integrity. She has delivered programmes and event series for a variety of Government donors and private clients, including AML/CFT and transparency-focused programming in China, Myanmar, Singapore, Mexico, Jordan, Armenia, India, and the Caribbean. Polly has particular responsibility for GovRisk’s AML/CFT work in Asia, working strategically with Financial Intelligence Units (FIUs), central banks, regulators of Non-Bank Financial Institutions (NBFIs), and the private sector to improve systems and capacity in line with international standards.

Polly is a certified Prince2 Agile Practitioner and has a First Class Honours degree in European Studies with Distinction in Oral Spanish from King’s College London. She speaks fluent Spanish.
